Jan. 22, 2006 - Jardines de Ensuenos - Bank Privacy in Costa Rica

In today's newsletter I have also forwarded some disturbing information regarding bank privacy that you may well want to be aware of. This to put it mildly emphasizes my advice, when it has come up in discussions, that I do not believe that one should ever take their ownership documents for property held outside of the United States back home with you if you want to maintain your privacy and safety. It is a much safer and better idea to leave such with your lawyer here or put them in a safe deposit box in a Costa Rican bank to ensure that your private business remains such. This article would I think tend to verify that my advice wasn't exactly just wild paranoia, you tell me????

Have a great day.
