Jardines de Ensuenos Newsletter Aug.28 - Houston we have lift Off!

As you might guess we had a monumental day on Friday when we broke ground on our project. As you also may have guessed it is Michael on the right and myself working hard on the shovels, In the back row from the left is Dewey and Carlina Hammond investors from Georgia that happened to be in Jaco to share the moment with us, next is Cristian and Jose our contractors for general construction with Olman looking on from the backhoe.

Cristian and our topographer Federico marking out the lot.

What our jungle looked like before we started, note this was after it was mowed just three weeks ago. With this soil we are stripping off to be used later I don't think it will be too difficult to get a garden growing in a few months.

What the first area of cleaned lot that is now ready for the topsoil to be stripped off looks like now, or at least until Monday, with Condominium Montecarlo in the back ground.

Needless to say it is a little difficult to explain just what it feels like to finally get started in real action after a year of intense planning, designing and sharing of our dream with all those interested in our vision of what a Costa Rica home should be. At this time I would like to thank all of you that have shared in our dream, gotten on board or are at least still seriously considering becoming part of our unique concept and community. Although this has been an extreme amount of work for us which has come to fruition with a lot of help from our
entire team of consultants and advisors it is all indeed most gratifying to see the real action begin and the dream unfold into reality. Of course there is always that satisfaction one gets in showing the doubting Thomas' that what we said we could do we will do.
Actually the largest obstacles by far have already been put to bed and actually building the project is not the difficult part at all it is getting the baby out of the maternity ward that is the real challenge.

On another note the website is finally back up and running with a major overhaul mostly complete with just a few things to tweak and add to it.
For example there will be a construction blog added where I will report the construction events as they unfold. This is the method by which we will keep our buyers informed on what is going on. Now just because you are all from five or six countries away from the site is no reason with today's technology for you not to be fully aware of what is going on, on a continual basis. Through this I will not only report with commentary and pictures but also run it like an ongoing lesson or a continuation of my Construction for Dummies article where I will make comment along with the pictures so that you not only see what is happening but why it is happening. I will of course point out directly to issues of importance that you may well simply not be aware of. I believe that it is essential and much more comforting for an investor not on site to know exactly what is going on and to feel confident in that their new home will be built to the highest standards and most progressive methods that are available anywhere. When one's whole intent is to build world class quality there is no reason to hide any of the processes or reasons behind what we do. Pictures, video and the internet are to say the least a great aid in providing this information and comfort to our owners. So form now on when you want to know what is going on all you have to do is log into the site and see the action unfold.

Also on the subject of the website we have added a discussion forum that I would appreciate you registering for and participating in to answer any of your current or future questions you may have or to join in the discussions. Although I am the moderator I would appreciate assistance from those especially those that have already been here to meet with us to help in answering questions and concerns of those new to our venture. No doubt now that we have started and our advertising increases this type of traffic will escalate drastically. You will also note our photo gallery will be expanding drastically over the next few days as Tom, who has done a fantastic job of upgrading our website, loads up many new pictures as I have taken time to assemble many of the pictures I have taken over the past months while touring many of you around Costa Rica. It should add a ton of color to the huge amount of information that we already provide.

Have yourself a great day and once again thank you for your continuing interest.

Regards,

Trevor
